I installed a new IP office 500 V2 8.1 (69) with a combo card. I am using three analog FIOS lines. I cannot get a clear dial tone when I try to dial out, nor does the Auto Attendant pick up when I dial in. All I hear is some garbled dial tone.
I tested it with a but set and I can dial out and dial in.
I also eliminated wiring as an issue since I plugged the lines directly into the verizon test ports.
I then inserted an old Analog trunk I had on a carrier card into the 500V2. I got some better results. 2 out of the three lines give me a clear dial tone and I can dial out. The third line, no mater what port, gives me the garbled dial tone. I still cannot dial in successfully.
I tested it with another brand new 500V2 and another combo card and had the same results and the first unit with only the combo card.
I then tested it with a 500V1 running release 4.1 and using the analog trunk on a carrier card and got clear dial tone on all lines , using line apperances. However once the call started to dial I got the garbled noise on that one lines and I still could not dial in succesfully. System status shows the pre-alert and then it stops.
I contacted verizon and all they say if it works on a butt set it isn't their responsibility.
I had an electrician test the voltage on the line and he said it was fine. I have not tested it myself. That is something I don't have experience with and am not sure how to do myself.
At this point I have tried two new 500V2 and one old 500V1. Has anyone experienced this issue??
