I have just installed a 4 port analog board in my 406.
when i go in with manager it thinks it is a BRI board
Line1 = appearence 701,702 and so on
broad says analog 4 port and part number matches for the correct board.
When using wizard it comes up and says Hardware Config does not match for local wizard will exit.

any ideas??

Your not the first. Looks like either Avaya have a mislabelled batch of stock or a software problem.

If any of the other guys who've had this are still in the forum, did you find a fix or just replace the board.

It could also be that the system came with a configuration on it already that included a BRI board. I had that happen. If you set the config back to the default it will then recognize the analog 4-port properly.

True, we've seen systems shipped with a test config they use in the factory before.

When it got the system it was new and upgraded it to 3.0(59)I have defaulted the system a few times today to try and get it to see it as an analog board!

Yes reset the unit back to factory defaults. We've had them also ship with all kinds of wacky settings on them too.

They do lots of funky tests before they send them.

Maybe the board has to be in slot B if this is empty?
Then your lines start from line 5 up.
