Hello all

I have a IPOffice V2 in version R8.1 and one AIWS 2 with the software version 3.53-A.

We have :

AVAYA 3725

and

AVYA 9630

I want to make a panic button on my AVAYA 3725, who send a text message (for example : $NAM ALERT ASSAULT) at all other AVAYA 3725.

For make that, i have create a new template in my "Avaya Device Manager" and assign in "Shorcuts | Multi-function Button Longpress " Send Message Function.

This function work but i can't define the default text and send automatically.

Anyone have a solution?

I hope I was clear enough in my request
Thanks in advance
Kind regards
Valerian

I'm not sure if you can send a message like that to multiple extn from a 3725, never tried though.
You also have desk phones, so I would have used a VMPro module, triggered by a short code. Setup outcall and put the warning as absent text on all phones.

Keep in mind that IP office is not an emergency system,

Kind regards

Gunnar

He has, Intrigrant, But does it send out mass messages from 3725?
Thought I read somewhere that the panic thing was only on 374x.

Kind regards

Thanks for your answers!

@Gunnaro : Can you tell me more about the module on VMPro? What looks like the absent text?

Kind regards
Valerian

Sure, I have a module made already for this, I'll post it as soon as possible.

Kind regards

Gunnar

Hi!

Busy days, but here it is: Outcalling

I haven't had the time to test it on a dect, but it should just ring and play the file on answer

The Generic action box "Text to be displayed" generates the a “$CP0” string.
Just alter that text if needed, and save/make live.

(The module is just a repeat of itself 3 times.)
If you need more extn to be alerted, copy and paste in as many as you need.

NB: on copy/paste, the boxes stack on top of each other, so you don’t see them before you drag one by one down.

Kind regards

Gunnar

Hello Gunnar,

I have found how ton cancel this mod:

I have create a new mod, how have assign the value of absent stat at "0"

It's work fine ;)

Did you also change the destination of the post dial action + put in a suitable wave file?

Has to point at a Shortcode-> #555 / Dial Paging/ Hunt Group number / 0

Put the users you want to receive the warning.

Kind regards

Gunnar
