Hi,
We have an IP Office 500 with a couple of softphone licenses. Everything works as it should using the IP Office Phone manager software on a PC. Its quite an old unit running an old version of the software (4.2 (17))
While it works, the PhoneManager software is absolutely awful (IMHO). It is also missing what I consider to be a critical feature which is the ability to select which audio device it uses and instead always insists on using the default OS configured device. This is a real pain - especially on Windows 7 where headphones & speakers are presented as two different devices.
So my question is two fold:
a) Is there an alternative to PhoneManager for the IP Office 500 Softphone function?
Or
b) Is it actually possible to select the default audio device for PhoneManager in some undocumented way
Thanks
