Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm in Dallas and the phone system is Boston and all I have is a picture.

Main unit has a "PHONE2", "VCM32" and a "PHONE8".

When I look at the picture it looks like there's two modules plugged into the 500 unit, each with 16 jacks.

Is there any way to tell which one is which by looking at the switch Control Unit in Office Manager?

Also do you know how the numbering would work? (Top left, bottom left and so on, or all the way across on the bottom then up to the next level?)

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Sorry for being an idiot -- I think I might have figured it out.

The module with two analog ports is BP1, which I'm guessing would be the left side.

The module with eight analog ports is BP3, which would probably be the third slot from the left.

Even if that's right, I'm still not sure how the jacks are numbered. We're supposed to have four analog lines connected and the one the one on the left has the far left top and bottom jacks connected and it's the same with the third module over.

Maybe it's:
1 3 5 7
2 4 6 8
or
2 4 6 8
1 3 5 7

Thanks again.

It is:

1 3 5 7
2 4 6 8

Next to those ports are trunk port and are numbered:

09 11
10 12

Sarcasm, it's only one of the services I offer.

At least they aren't called slot 1 and 2 in the software and labelled slots B and A on the hardware!
