ql20, it would help a great deal to know a little more detail about your troubles
I have just installed a 412, on 3.2 with 120 DS sets, 5410's and 5420's and I had no issues with redial. In fact I used redial very often during testing
The system is a 406DS with about 50 5410 phones. The localredial does not work on any of them. The system has 2 T1's for dial tone and 16 pots lines. The customer has to dial 9 to call out, i was told that it could be prefix problem. If so I'm not sure how to fix it.
You are referring to the actual redial function correct?? Not trying to dial a call from the missed, inans, or outgoing call logs correct? Do they use different trunks for local and long distance calls? How are the short codes for the local and long distance calls set up currently?
do you even get the option to redial on the screen of the 5410, the redial button on a 5410 does not automatically redial the last number, it prompts to the screen the last several numbers dialed and you have to hit the appropriate key to activate
Hi
U can have two test 1) if after redial u get disconnection status or incompatible tone ..... Then check in to dial delay which should be default in the system telephony parameter .... 2) if ur redial doesnot function throgh fetaure phone facility of the phone then try to configure IPO with Wizard after bringing system to default factory setting.
ALSO try to set T1 seizing prefix through secondary dial type .
I have the same problem. Somehow the call is being flagged differently when redialed. I'm ok on Local and LD, but 800 numbers don't work for me. Doesn't happen on analog lines of course, because it has to do with the flags on call setup on a PRI.
