I was entering ranges into the IP Network Region Map
It seemed no rhyme or reason why sometimes when entering in ranges
- Sometimes it would accept the range of several hundred IP's
- Sometimes it ignored my entry and only kept the first 0-255
- When this happened I had to type in every 0-255 range

For example:

192.168.0.0 - 192.168.8.255 /24 = Range I'd like it to accept (it would sometimes)
When I press Enter, sometimes it would only publish is this:
192.168.0.0 - 192.168.0.255

End up having to type in:
192.168.1.0 - 192.168.2.255
192.168.3.0 - 192.168.3.255
192.168.4.0 - 192.168.4.255
...and so on

Just wondering if there is something I may be missing here.

Thanks,

Entering the starting address and either the of the range or the bits of the subnet mask.

Don't put /24 if you want to put 192.168.0.0-192.168.8.255

Or supply a valid network address and net mask

192.168.0.0 /22
And
192.168.5.0 /22

Take Care

Matt
I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

What they said
You have more than a /24 network.
Here's a cheat sheet I use

The following table lists the variable length subnets from 1 to 32,
the CIDR [3] representation form (/xx) and the Decmial equivalents.
(M = Million, K=Thousand, A,B,C= traditional class values)
