I went into IP office to configure the IP addresses so we're connected to the internet, it didn't work so I want to revert to originall settings where the PC only communicates to CBC, the phones work but now voicmail isn't working, we bet a busy signal. We must have a IP address wrong somewhere.. but can't find where, there's so many areas to change the address.. Can anyone point me to a manual that specifies where and what the IP addresses should be..

A few things to check would be to make sure that the IP address of the vm computer is the same as the IP addy in system.

Also make sure that the vm license is valid if using vmpro.

It sounds like you have set a wrong ip addy somewhere. You should post what you believe the ip addresses of the IPO and vmpro to be.

I'm also trying to change the ip of a 2nd switch of ours. If I change the IP in the Sys config-lan tab do I also have to change it in the "control unit" (5 down on the tree)?

all the ip-office manuals can be found at The default ip-address for the control unit is 192.168.42.1, and any phone will be given an ip-address above 192.168.42.201.
