I have an issue with CP 100 connected to a MICS with 6.1 software.
Here is the issue. My remote user is trying to send callers directly to her mailbox 3000 when she does she get an "invalid mailbox" message. I have remotely accessed the RAD, FEATURE 983 and checked out mailbox 3000 in the "Admin" and "CHNG" and when I input 3000 it states that it's an "invalid mailbox"
So far so good
Now here is the funny part when I access the "DIR" at hit OK at the "NAME" prompt I see the users name there as well as the EXT: 3000. Can someone please shed some light on this matter.

thanks for all the help

Your dialing plan, what about it? can you dial to the DN 3000 from your Automated Attendant? have you done some changes to your system DNs?. Have you ever made a restart to your VM system after these changes in the mailbox?.

Sounds like you have an EXT 3000, but not a MAILBOX 3000.

I know this may be a stupid question, but is the mailbox initialized?

BlackC : I can access the MBX from the AAT.
CJ : I left the user a message in the mailbox therefore there must be one.
DigitelD : The only stupid questions, are questions that arent' asked. Yes the mailbox has been initialized.

Have her get all of her messages out and delete it and recreate it and intitialize it again and see if that helps.

That worked thanks for the help.

I was hoping for an easier solution though.

Much appreciated.

Deleting and recreating a mailbox is not a hard task. It only takes a few minutes to do.
