I have problem with Internet Messaging on the Intuity Audix LX.

I want to forward subscribers' messages (voice, fax or mail) to other mailbox server. I set up trusted servers (internet and internetd with Intuity's Host IP Address), Mail Gateway Machine Name (host name of other mailbox server), Mail Gateway IP Address (IP Address of Other mailbox server), Postmaster Extension and Subscribers (with enabled Trusted Server Access).
Message doesn't forward with this set up to other mailbox server.
Is it possible to automaticly forward the fax (or voice) attachment in email?

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Nope, you can't automatically forward messages. There are someways around this problem but they require a good bit of work.

Thanks brb5548 for reply!
I want to forward messages automatically because I don't give Message Manager everyone. Subscribers will be use their mailbox on other mailbox server but Intuity Audix must forwarded messages to other mailbox server.
Do you reveal this secret why to do it?

Thanks!

this is a feature that u can buy, but doesn't work on 4.3 intuity
TANDEM MAILBOXES
The tandem mailbox feature provides a means to link mailboxes together such
that a message delivered to the first (primary) also appears in the second
(secondary). Thereafter, when either copy of the message changes categories
or is deleted, a like change is made in the other mailbox. The linkage is
unidirectional: messages that are delivered directly to the secondary
mailbox, and not via the primary mailbox, are not accessible from the
primary mailbox. A secondary mailbox may support multiple primary
mailboxes.
This feature is designed for a group of executives and their secretarial
staff. In this application, each executive’s messages are managed by one
secretary and each secretary may manage the messages of multiple
executives. The executives access their messages infrequently and rely on
the secretary to regularly access the messages and deal with them
appropriately.

After consulting with the developers it was discovered that the tandem mailbox feature DOES NOT WORK withe Mach 4.3, the fix was supposed to be in A43rfu+a but was never included. The only fix is to go to Mach4.4

The subscribers without Message manager can set up a POP3 account in Outlook to access their messages. Set up the POP3 account like this:

POP3 server: (name or ip address of Intuity LX)
SMTP server: (name or ip address of Intuity LX)

Account: (Extension number of subscriber)
Password: (audix password for subscriber)

Also make sure to flag POP3 in the settings on the Intuity.

Thanks guys for replay, but problem is more complicated probably.

Redphone,
I was set up the POP3 account for users. POP3 is flags in the settings on the Intuity also. But when somebody recorded on the user's mailbox (or leaved fax), Outlook can't see the email (it is connects but mailbox is empty; but when I connect to mailbox by telephone these massages are there).

Any ideas?

I would try leaving 'Mail Gateway Machine Name' blank. Most mail machines do not allow forwarding message through them do to those pesky viruses. Also if you are trying to access it from the internet, you will need a public address routed to the Intuity. Make sure the internet messaging service is up and try to send an e-mail message either with message manager, or the e-mail test wizzard.

Thanks redphone!!!

Your replay was a piece of good information. Where will I send Johny Walker for you? ;-)
