Installing ASA on Windows 95

Has anyone had problems installing ASA 1.10.11 on win95. It loads fine on NT, but having error when installing to 95.

I do recall needing a patch at one time for this. Its been so long, I do know I down loaded it from Avaya web page. Wisdom is Knowledge

Early Versions of Windows 95 may fail to load DSA 1.8 and later.

The reason it is failing is because early versions of Win 95 do not have ws2_32.dll. Changes were made to DSA to reduce the delay in resolving ip addresses on C-Lan boards last October. Certain functions that are contained in that dll were used. Windows’ documents these functions as being Windows 95 compatible, but apparently they do not exist on very early versions of Windows 95. Thanks. The windows socket update fixed the problem. Did you have an issues loading the Terminal Emulator?
