Hi,
Some advise please!

I want to install VNC on a 4.3 system, but all I can find is a RPM called "vnc-3.3.3r1-2.aix4.3.ppc.rpm". When I try to install this rpm -ivh, the following dependencies are missing:
/usr/bin/perl is needed by vnc-3.3.3r1-2
libXext.a(shr.o) is needed by vnc-3.3.3r1-2

Sooo, I start with installing PERL. Got a RPM "perl-5.6.1-4.aix4.3.ppc.rpm" and try to install this, but then another depency start to pop up:
libdb.a(libdb-3.3.so.0) is needed by perl-5.6.1-4
libgdbm.a(libgdbm.so.2) is needed by perl-5.6.1-4

What am I missing now? Anyone an idea of what libdb.a is at?

Thanx a bunch

Ray

libdb is the berkley db library, see sleepycat.com

libgdbm is the GNU database manager. See the gdbm page.
