Can anyone give me the procedures for installing a TN750C annc board?

The tn750c can be installed into any purple slot or slot you would use for station packs. If you find any mistakes, please consider that they are there for a purpose. And everyone needs a purpose.
Hope this helps, Mikey.

I'm sure it has to be added as a Data-Module.

Add Data-Module extnhere porthere typeannboard.

or something like that. It's been a while since I added one.

Thanks...so I don't have to power off the switch to install the card. And, I do have to use the Add Data-Module command.

No, it's only the white slots, i.e processors, tone cards on so on that require a power down. Although i seem to remember reading on this forum that some Definity's no longer have purple slots.

List out any currant Data-Modules you have, (you can Add-Module Next to pick the next free number.)
ADD-MODULE, enter a free number. In the field you will see that you need to enter a type (Announcement) COR, COS, TN and i can't remember the rest. Sorry, but your almost there.

Hi c,

Does this depend on the version ? I'm running on v7 and when i added a TN750C to the G3, Avaya got me to do the Data-Module stuff.
Just a question.

Adding a data-module allows you to save the announcment board to either a flash cars or tape. Add the data module to port 17 of the announcement board.
