Has anyone used IMS with SMTP or MAPI at the same time. I have a customer that wants to use IMS for about 10 users, all the others he wants to use the alert or copy feature in SMTP or MAPI. I have heard it is possible, and others say it is impossible. I just need to know if someone has done it. Thanks!

if you are already using IMS , DO NOT ATTEMPT to setup the smtp settings.
If some of the USERS only want email alerts , all need is to tick email alert and add the email address in the voicemail tab , we use it at our office and at our clients.
Works on levels 2 and 3 with exch 5.5 , 2000 and 2003 platforms
