As a cost savings measure, we have been tasked to remove stations that are abandoned/idle.

Is there any way to find out the date of the last call made to/from a station?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have cdr (Call Detail Recording)? That's the only way I know of.

I was afraid that was going to be the answer... we have a *very* basic text based CDR, not sure how well that would serve for capturing negative data.

Thank you for the reply, though!

If the phones have been unplugged, you can search for them in the Error Log. Do 'display errors' and put 513 in the Error Type field.

None of our phones are Avaya products, so virtually every analog station out there will throw a 513...that's part of the problem.

you could always remove them, then just replace the phones if you get a complaint or two.
just "X" them out or un-tti them, if you get complaints, easy enough to put them back.
eventually, remove the wiring as well, once enough time has passed.

That's more-or-less how we do it now... periodically busyout all the 513 errored stations, wait 30 days, then delete the busyouts.

Was hoping there was an easier way, but I guess not.

Thanks for the replies, everyone!
