I reinstalled win98se, now outlook express 6 doesnt work......

Hi,

I reinstalled windows 98se and now I have problems with a couple of programs that used to work before the reinstallation.

Since the reinstallation outlook express version 6 doesnt work, Kazaa Lite, WinMx and Creative Playcenter (Cddb-info) will not connect to internet. When reinstalling these programs I get an error message. "this program has done an illegal action and will be shut down"

Is there any settings that has been changed or is there something I missed to do during the reinstallation?

Have you gone to Windows Update and downloaded the Critical updates? One of those is the IE 6 with OE6.

Hi,

thanks for your help.

Windows update didnt solve the problem but I reinstallde Zonealarm and now everythings works.

Must have been something wrong with the ZoneAlarm.
