Can user greetings be uploaded on embedded Vmail IPO?

Are you saying if before 9.0 I cannot upload user greeting only attendant greetings?
In 9.0 how do I upload usergreetings. I looked in 9.0 documents and did not see it?

In the release 9 Manager the LVM Greeting Utility ( File>Advanced>LVM Greeting Urtility ) has changed, now you can select lhe kind of greeting the wav file has to be changed to.

Options are ( drop down list )
Autoattendant ( default )
Announcement1
Announcemet2
Greeting
Name

It was about time to get this.... next step a reverse process? hopefully...

There is always the "secret" reverse process though, but a supported method would be better :)

secret"? I am not aware of this but I never had to use it nevertheless I have seen a lot of post here asking for it.
If I need recorded messages from users I usually forward them to email, then I have them in .wav format. I don't really care about greetings and stuff because the customer can always re-record them.

Drag the file onto a MonitorDB window and it converts it to .wav :)

Hahaha, I use it for years and never knew that... I'll give it a shot. Thanks

I know to get greetings in I go to embedded file management
Dynamic
Lvmail
AAG and copy greeting in then pick the greeting under attendant.
How do I get the names user greetings or announcement's to their correct spot ?

Long manual ( simplified )
Copy the .c11 or .clp files to you hard disk
Open them with a hex editor
change the name of the AA in the header and copy them back to the SD card
Not that obvious as described above but basically that is it

OR ( prefferred )

record the new greeting on your PC and use the LVM Greeting utility, copy the .c11 of .clp file to the SD card.

Which manual do you find this in? I didn't seem to see it in 9.0 embedded vmail manual

The first part isn't a Avaya method, it is a DIY hacking method. The second method is in the manuals or in the knowledgebase.
