I need to Overflow calls from site A Main Group to site B Main after so long.

I have tried diverts with Dummy users, Shortcodes and cannot get this to work. I can dial the huntgroups manually but can I make use of the calls transferring accross the link.

Set no overflow group and turn voicemail on. If you are using voicemail pro setup the group/leave. Send the start point of that group/leave to a transfer which has the short code/ group number you wish to forward it to.

Its not fun as the overflow just adds the overflow group as another user to the first group.

Have a play with some test groups using dummy users with forward hunt group ticked and unconditional divert and no voicemail. The group can not be group type ring.

The main problem is that it uses the no answer time is from first group not overflowed group. It keep trying the overflowed group member and forwarding.

Voicemail pro is very handy, some sales people like to cut corners. Maybe they should call it "Call Routing Pro + voicemail" :)

Try not using an over flow group. Make the group Hunt and add the diverted dummy user as many times as you like at the bottom of the list of users

You can only divert group calls if the group type is HUNT (Linear in USA) or Rotory.

Now that is working. But only from 1 site.

I have group set up as hunt and the dummy user as 1 with unconditional forward.

I'll check my shortcodes and advice.
