HP Laserjet 2500

Hi

I have a laserjet 2500 colour network printer. When I install the printer on the server, I get a error when trying to print. When I turn the printer of and on again, the job that gave the error, will print. I might be lucky to get one or two more jobs through before it starts giving me an error again. Then, again, If I turn it of and on again, the error jobs will print.

Am I doing something wrong?

Sounds like the PCL6 driver weirdness. Try the PCL5x driver and see if that helps.

Stop and restart print spooler..

start->control panel->administrative tools->services

Also check that spooler folder is empty

C:/windows/system32/spool/printers
