I have an HP 2200D and only recently it has begun to jam when in the duplex mode. It has tried to feed 2 pages from the in tray, only to stop with an error, and it has jammed after printing one page and then taking the paper back into the unit to print the second side of the paper. it jams. It happens way too often and wastes 3-4 pages of paper with each jam, not to mention time and ink. There are no pieces of paper in the unit that I can find.
I'd love to know how to take this thing apart and make sure everything is in working order, like a 12,000 service on our cars.
It prints correctly without jamming if I manually slow it down. For example, I print pages 1-2, and then enter another print command for pages 3-4. The printer gets a pause in between pages. I don't know why this would make a difference.
I'd love to send this to an HP Service Center for repairs and overhaul or whatever they do. I can't find out where HP will do this. It's a good printer and I really don't want to buy another printer. Thanks for any help and suggestions.
