This question came up as a result of a safety meeting in the hospital I work at, the question was whether or not in the event of a tornado in our area it was possible to transfer all incoming calls from the switchboard (Attendant console) to the phone in my office in the basement? Which happens to be a bomb shelter from the 50's. At night the switchboard operator uses a night button to send all calls to our admitting offices. Now (take in mind I have had LITTLE training in how to use this system) the only differences I see in the way the ext in the "night" office is set up is that the cover path 1 is set to t2 I have tried to change the cover path on my phone to t2 and set the Night phones cover path to something different thinking that it might make my phone the "night" phone but this had no effect. I am using a Definity G3siV9 system, and the brass here at the facility doesn’t want to have to spend any money to do this (big surprise). So if you have any info on how this might be done please let me know
