I am trying to setup Internet Messaging on my Intuity. Submitted several tests, nothing is being queued. Any idea on how to get internet messaging to work on my Intuity.

Giar,

Having problems too? Man, it is driving me crazy. I cant get support from Avaya or my Avaya Business Partner without paying an arm and a leg.

You've gone through all the tests right? The ones in Feature Administration/Internet Messaging/Tests

I have successful Ping, Name Lookups, SMTP Connections, POP3 Connections, but when I do mail delivery nothing gets send, it just says "queued for delivery." Then when I go to
System Configuration and Status/System Status there is nothing in any of the queues.

Interestingly enough though, I can setup an Outlook profile using Internet options, with the extension number as the username and the password of the voicemail box and it sucks in the voicemail just fine, then I create a message, send it, there are no errors on the Outlook side, but then I go back and look at Status/System Status and there is a message in the queue.

Then, I go to Logs/Internet Messaging Logs and look in the SMTP IN log and it shows me@my.intuity.server.com sent xxx bytes to someone@somewhere.else.com and then a little later there is one that says postmaster@my.intuity.server.com to mymailboxextension@my.intuity.server.com but I never recieve the message from the postmaster.

I have set the gateway to a box on the lan which it can ping, and I have setup a ftp server on that same box on both port 25 and 110 and verfied that the Intuity server can do a test connection, but when I try to send mail from Outlook or with the send test message tool within Intuity it never even tries to connect to port 25 or 110 on the mail gateway.

Can anyone shed any light here? Is that what you are experiencing too?

Keep the Mail Gateway blank when setting up Internet Messaging.
