How to set up Auto CAD 2000 onto Window XP

While set up AUTO CAD 2000 on Window XP, it says System requirement's error wrong OS.
How to take care of that?
Please advise me.

This is off the top of my head with out a an XP system in front of my but from memory-

Right click on the ACAD Icon

Under options/property’s I think there is a compatibility switch, play with this a bit. I think I set mine to Win9X.

Try This-

Insert CD.
Exit out of the automatic install.
Open explorer and create a shortcut of te setup.exe file on the desktop.
Right-click shortcut and select program compatability.
Select Win95
Close and run setup
