how to make absent text work for internal callers.

I have them all setup with a button for absent text which does work. ou can see the text on the phone... however when internal people call each other they do not see the absent text. They are all office workers and power users. How can I make the internal user see each others absent text? I'm baffeled. Thanks, Trees3

What phones? and what release of software?

Release is 7.0.278401 and phones are 1408,1416,9508.

After the upgrade, did you rerun the upload phone files in the manager? It should upload e few more files for the 1400 and 9500 phones.

upload phone files in the manager? I did the upgrade and uploaded everything. maybe I'm missing something. Do you think that would fix the issue of the internal callers being able to see the absent message on someones phone? thx, Trees3
