I have a voicemail that I need to forward to all subscribers on my Intuity Audix system. Can this be done and what must I do? The VM is in a box that is setup has a broadcast box.

thanks

From the Avaya website:

To send a Broadcast Message:

You must have broadcast permissions in order for the following steps to work.

Call AUDIX and log into your mailbox
Press 1 to create message and # to approve
Press # to bypass addressing segment and hear a list of options. You may have up to six delivery options available after addressing a message, depending on the permissions you have been assigned.

If the system does not recite the broadcast option, you don't have permission to send a broadcast message and should contact your system administrator
Press 8 to make message Broadcast or 0 to listen to a list of Broadcast options and then # to approve

Thanks Susan. I don't want to create a "new" message, but fwd an existing vm msg. The msg is in a vm box that has braodcast permissions.

Just modify the instructions slightly - you will forward the message, and press # to bypass the addressing segment. "Send as a broadcast message" should be one of your options.

Do I have to create an address list or will it look at ALL the subscribers and broadcast to them? Thanks again for your replies.

Sorry everyone but can someone also describe the how to for creating a broadcast box? I am backup support on an Intuity and I am an Octel user primarily, AUDIX has been a while.

Thanks
