How does Corel Draw compare to MS Image Composer?

I used Image Composer till upgrade removed access on metwork. I'm looking for good animation software. Any suggestions?

Animation is not the primary function of Coreldraw. I suggest you google for alternatives.

Draw is a vector illustration application. Composer was a low-end bitmap editor.

For animation, Flash would be a good tool to learn.
