How do you add a new skill? 1

I am trying to add a new skill for my Agent-LoginID's to use but cannot see anything obvious from the add options.

Can anybody help?

Is the skill defined? Then you add it to the agents with "ch ag xxxx". Do you want to add a new? Are you using EAS? "add hunt next" does that do it?

hunt groups in an eas envinroment are the same as skills.

Just think of it like this:

Without EAS, you assign agents to hunt groups / Splits / Skills (They're all the same, just different terminology).

With EAS, you assing the hunt groups / splits / skills to the agents.

So how do I create a brand new skill not yet defined?

Once the skill is created, you'll add it to each agent's skillset.
