We have a Definity G3 switch and I am trying to connect a second line to a Lucent 7406 Plus voice terminal. Anyone know anything about the wiring connection and the setup?

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but I was able to set up a 2nd line on the 7406+ set by changing button 3 to "BRDG-APPR 1 4500" where x4500 is the 2nd line I want to add. I changed button 4 to "AUT-MSG-WT 4500" so x4500 would get a message waiting indicator. And I had to have a "NORMAL" button on the set, so I added it as a feature button assignment (screen 4).
I hope this helps!

Thanks Doug, good info. Do you have to do anything different in the wiring to the phone terminal?

The 7406 is a multi appearance digital display.
You only wire it one way.
You can have multiple appearances of the same extension
on it "ie lines" they don't have to be bridged.
