How can I hide a directory entry in IP Office 500

We have installed an IP500 V2 Firmware 7.0(5) IP Office system. This is a replacement for a Definity G3.

One of the features of the G3 was the ability to have certain extensions (or in IP Office, Users) not display when someone selects directory on their phone. This was done by putting an * at the start of the Name Field. Not everyone wants to scroll through the directory listing and see all of the modem or fax extensions.

Is there a way to hide an extension/user from the directroy listing in IPO?

Under Users on the User Tab

Ex Directory: Default = Off
When on, the user does not appear in the directory list shown by the user applications and on phones with a directory function.

Thanks for the help.

I had used the F1 key and read through the fields but it just did not register with me that EX DIRECTORY was what I was looking for.

Sometimes it just helps to have it pointed out.

I completed the update for hiding the users, but I cannot see where you hide hunt groups, which are showing up in my directory listing.

I have looked at all of the screens available under Hunt Groups and check the Help for each screen but nothing seems to show how to turn this off in the directory.

Not possible to hide groups, only users. You could let the groups start with zz...groupname (not dots or other caracters allowed)
