Have a meridian Option 11. I want to set up a 2008 set to automatically dial a number when you pick up the handset?
Can someone help me with that?

in the NTP you will find a feature called HOT D you can program a phone such as an analog phone 500 port as a hot key

ftr hot d 4 XXXX
or key 0 hot d 4 XXXX (xxxx) being the extention to point to.

on a 2008 do a chg..

key 0 hot d 4 1234..

add cls ira and lpk 0, you don't have to press the key.. that key as programed would dial the 4 digit ext 1234 every time you pick it up

Thank you very much for your help.
It worked with John Poole's suggestion

John,
How to remove the hotline?
Thank you.

Hi Guys,
The tests I made with the hotline worked great.
Now the problem I am having is how to remove the hotline and use key 0 to dial.
Because since then I cannot receive or make calls.
Thank you

I believe you need to put...

Key 0 SCR xxxx

where xxxx is the DN of this phone
