Are you trying to hide an extended logical dos partition? Is the drive (D a zip drive? You have to CLARIFY your question, it is very difficult to understand what you mean!
I am trying to hide a logical drive (Don an extended MS-DOS partition, on a 10 GB HDD, my OS is Win98 SE. Drive D: ocupies the entire extended partition. I want to hide the drive (undrer win98), not the partition. I hope this makes things sufficiantly clear.
Right-click on the Explorer key, choose new>DWORD value, name it NoDrives. Right-click on that, choose modify, make sure decimal is chosen and type in the number 8.
