GhostZman, thank you for your assistance. Just so I am on the right page I modified the steps above with your suggestions. Let me know if I missed something.
1. Do a backup to hard drive on the machine that has WinSPM V. 9.0.
2. Do a backup to the PCMCIA card that the current processor (Legend) has.
3. Power down the system (both cabinets).
4. Remove Merlin Legend Processor.
5. Install Magix processor module card.
6. Power up the right cabinet, then wait 10 seconds and power up the left.
7. Connect to console via WinSPM 9 and verify that the Magix processor is seen.
8. Go to tools and do a convert within WinSPM.
9. After conversion perfom a backup to computer hard drive.
10. Restart the system.
10. Connect via WinSPM to console.
11. Go to Tools and do a a restore from the backup file created on hard drive.
Is that correct? Just a quick question just so I understand what is happening, why is it necessary to do a restore after the converted backup? When the system reboots does it wipe out the whole configuration? Sorry for all the questions I am just trying to learn since the last time I did this I was more an observer from someone who had no desire to teach.
