I had this problem in the past where when the SEO gets rebooted, ALL OLD MESSAGES come BACK into users mailboxes. HUNDREDS of them. I patched it to the latest the end of last year, and it had not happened anymore, until today, all the messages are back, and the users cannot even delete them. I am offsite, is there anything I can do remotely? Has anyone had this issue before with Embedded Voicemail? It's almost like it stores all deleted messages with some sort of flag that is getting removed?

please put the poor old SOE out of its misery!!! ;-)

Indeed, it is time for retirement :)
But i still love them, small and all kind of ports on them.
Ideal for demo's

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I would love to, but they won't at this point, they want this fixed.. I can understand their frustration.
What I can say is if I go to the file manager for the embedded file management, and there are tons of files in there - but I cannot delete them, and strangely enough, a lot of them go back to 2009. Very Strange

Pull the card out and put it in a card reader or connect a DTE cable to it and delete it by hand.
Login and type:

AT <enter>
at-debug <enter>

These commands can be used:
ivm-mbox-show - Show mailboxes
ivm-mbox-show nnn - Show contents of specified mailbox
ivm-mbox-clear nnn - Clear specified mailbox
ivm-msg-del nnn dd/dd/dd hh:mm:ss - Delete specified message
ivm-msg-del-all - Delete all voicemail messages

I read somewhere that I can also rename the user? and then put it back?
I really don't want to go out there...

You have too when the card is full :)
The only way to remove the messages is all on location.

1 By phone
2 By removing them from the card
3 By DTE
