When opening a document that is utilizing a header, I need to set the header to not appear as a lighter gray color, but as the same color as the rest of the document.

Also, if I change that, is that change only valid on my PC or will it also start appearing correctly if sent to others?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Birbone,

I think that its a feature of MS Word to differentiate Header/Footer material from Body material.

You COULD change the Body Font Color to match the Header/Footer. ;-)
