We have a Tandberg 1000 Desktop Video Conferencing unit, that we are attempting to get to communicate to the outside world. My network consists of the following from the outside going in: Cisco 2620XM (internet router w/ 3 T1's bonded into a 4.5 MB pipe), Cisco 4006 switch w/ appropriate VLAN's to seperate outside and inside, etc.), PIX firewall.

I have opened H.323 service on the PIX (UDP 1719 and TCP 1720), as well as TCP 5555-5560 and UDP 2326-2406 per the instructions that Tandberg provided. I have also opened for both inbound and outbound on my internet router the protocols and ports mentioned for the PIX. All this yet I still can not establish a video call going out. [thumbsdown]

What am I missing or not aware of? [ponder]

Do you have a static translation for the tandberg unit in your pix configuration?

Have you got the following in your PIX config:

fixup protocol h323 h225 1720
fixup protocol h323 ras 1718-1719

Yes, or almost.

I have:
"fixup protocol h323 h225 1720"
"fixup protocol h323 ras 1718-1719"

I also have a line just above those two stating:
"no fixup protocol h323 h225 1720"

Maybe my config. needs some tweaking???
