General delivery mailbox

It's been a while since I programed a Partner system. When people call in and get the auto attendant they have the option of selecting 4 mailboxes. If they select mailbox 10 (general delivery) they get mailbox 13 (after 4 rings). Where should I look?
 
It depends on the type of Voice Mail your Partner is Supporting. If it is the "Card" type that plug into the center of the processor it is just a programming command to designate the General Mailbox. The Partner Messaging, full size circuit pack, is also programming, just a little different. You will need a password to access the administration for each. If you have done this before, it is in "Cold Storage" and you should recognize the options once you have entered admin. The programming guides are very useful and it would be beneficial to search one out once you have determined which V.M. you have.
 
When you press the voicemail access button, what exactly does the voice say? That will let us know which type of messaging you are using.
 
They have the small business voicemail with the card in the processor. When you select option 1 or mailbox 10 it goes to mailbox 13 after some delay. Is it possible mailbox 10 has been disabled or deleted?
 
Check if selector code 1 is set to transfer to Ext. 13. Caller dials 10, auto attendant hears the 1, does what it's been told to do (transfer to Ext. 13), and ignores the 0
 
As stated above, you need to change the selector code for 1 to "direct extension transfer". Log-in as the admin, and listen to the prompts until you hear "for selector code transfer". Choose that option and change selector code 1 to direct extension transfer.
 
Thank you, problem solved. Selector code 1 was directed to wrong mailbox.Also the general delivery box was set up as announce only (can't remember the exact wording).
