You may be able to access the CMOS by pressing & holding a key during bootup or unplugging your keyboard altogether. If your pc is as dead as it sounds then you should *carefully* (use of a static strap is a good habit) remove or disconnect anything that is not needed during bootup such as IDE cables, modem, scsi cards, etc. Also, if you have more than one stick of ram you should remove them (leaving a single stick in Slot 1) If you are using more than one stick of ram you should try each in slot one to rule out which might be the bad stick. Better yet, if you have access to compatable ram you know is good, you could install it in place of any in your pc now. After doing this see if the pc will at least post - if it does you will get several beeps. Let me know how this works out.
