Hi,

I am trying to set up a VOIP connection between 2 Definity G3si PBXs through 2 Cisco routers connected using ISDN PRI. I can get a voice call through but not voice mail or caller ID on the displays. Is this the DCS link?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Yep,

If you would like Name & Number you should set up the DCS link if DCS software is activated. If you use ISDN-PRI this is done through the D-channel and NCA's (none call assocaited signaling)

Hi,

We are using GCS. We are using the PRI to connect to the Cisco router. We would like to keep the voice mail and caller ID functionality. The calls are getting through but not these services. It seems the D channel is not going between PBX's when using VOIP.

The routers are using 12.2 IOS. Which is fairly new.

The G3Si are release 6.
