they sell definitys on ebay, but technically u can't sell the software except if someone buys your whole company. And the processing portion of the pbx is worthless without the software. And to buy the rights to the software separate from the hardware is usually so expensive as to make it not cost effective. But in practice, Avaya doesn't really usually enforce the software rules, so u are able to sell the pbx and the new users can use the software.
