I have a customer that has a G3 R11 which we are connecting to a Nortel Option 81 using a Point to Point T1. We have programmed both switches and are getting calls back and forth between them with no problems. The problem is that calls start droping. I am sure this is a timing issue between the two switches but I don't know how to make the definity get timing on that T1 from the Nortel in other words a Master/Slave arrangement. The trunk group is set up as tie with all 24 channels as members. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you make this PRI, and set timing on the ds1 screen to: Connect: network rather than line-side, or PBX.
