Function to Pick up

Hi all,

Is there a function that I can program to a button that would just pick up when the phone rings, when that button is pressed obviously? Thank you.

I have a manager who likes to just press a button when the phone rings without picking up the hand set, but I'm not sure how to do that or what the function would be.

So tell him to press the button the flashes/rings.

Press the handsfree button.

Make sure the phone is programed for hands free, then when the phone rings press the hands free button.

Honestly, I'm not sure what you mean by being more specific?? For hands free the phone is programmed as Auto.

It doesn't work. When you press the handsfree button as the phones ring, it just picks up a free line ready to dial out.

The line must ring on his phone. Is he hearing it ring somewhere else? If so you may need to add a pickup key (f75) but make sure the phone he hears and his phone are in the same pick up group.

Ahh, yea she doesn't want the phone to ring at her desk but be able to pick it up hands free if no one else is available.

Thats pickup groups.

Sets must be assigned to same pickup group then program the correct pickup button (group or direct).

Go to programing under terminals and sets, capabilities, pick group and make them all the same group. Add a button on the phone (f75) then when any phone rings she can pu with this button.
