Forwarding when the original phone is unplugged 1

Hi All,

We're doing some renovations here and have moved a few people from their offices. I want to forward their extensions to their cell phones. I went into system programming and set the 'forward no answer' and 'forward on busy' to their cell numbers (it's not a huge deal if there are 2 rings before it forward's the call) and that works while the phones are plugged in. Unfortunately, they want to demolish the area where they were for the renovation and want the phones out of there. When I unplug the phones and try calling their extensions it goes straight through to their voice mail.

Any thoughts on what I'm missing with this?

You unplugged them so your not missing anything.

Depending on your voice mail software in Class Of Service allow External Transfer, then setup the users mailbox via there Admin option 8 and put in a cell #.
Re-record greetings to state what ever you want and to reach on cell press 7.

You may want to get a tech in to set this up.
