So I tried to format the sd card on my ipOffice V2 via the card reader on my laptop and manager. Manager kept telling me that it wasn't a valid fat32 file system and we couldn't format and recreate. I tried a different sd card I had around, formatted it via windows to a fat32, then formatted it under manager and when I went to recreate I got the "invalid fat32 file system" What am I doing wrong or has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for the help!

Is it a SD or an MMC?

The original sd card was straight from avaya. in the nice avaya packaging. The second one was just a regular SD card that I thought I would try to see if it would format and recreate that one. didn't work on either one and the same errors for both.

And if you point the ICR to that SC?

lol, I was just going to say I wasn't following you there :)

Tried it on 2 different Lenovo's running different OS. I should be able to insert the SD into a reader and format and recreate via manager, correct?

Try this at own risk!!!

The docs say that if you format it with Windows the SD cards looses the watermark.

I have had one SD card that i was formatting while Manager stopped working with this result.
A non working card which had to be formatted with Windows.

After that i just formatted it again with manager and recreated the SD card.

It then worked as is should do without getting error about a missing license dongle.

This does not work for a normal SD card.

I have it twice with that same dongle and still it is working well.

I must admit that i did a quick format and not a (slow) normal format.

Give it a shot at your own risk, although it is not working anyway.

Yeah, that was the reason I haven't formatted the Avaya SD card through Windows yet. I really don't want to go through wiping the feature key off of it and having to get a new one. I also do not want this system to have that fun "lose the config" issue either. Stuck between a rock and a hard place.

You have no choice to be honest.
It does not work now and you need to swap anyway if you do not format it.
Give it a shot and let me know if i am right.

Do a quick format with Windows (in my case Windows 7 pro) and then with manager and recreate it.
