Good afternoon all. I've seen 3 different threads about using Cisco ATA18x units on the IPO, but they're all using the h.323 Trunking method. The problem w/ this method is you can't get message waiting indication via stutter dialtone. This is important in some cases.

Has ANYONE out there found a brand of ATA device that allows an analog station to attach to the IPO using h.323 Station protocol where you can still receive message waiting indication with stutter dialtone? If so, what brand and model number is this device. Attaching a sample config would be helpful as well.

I have about 5 users that our system will be tapping into their existing site's system, and I just need to provide them a single extension over IP with a Voicemail Box (thus the notification).

Thanks in advance.

Fooball is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

I have had some success with Micronet SP5002/SP5004.
Notice that there is 2 versions of both (H323/SIP).

Call transfer and call hold doesn't work.. Ask Avaya why they won't follow standard H323 :(

We have used the Micronet's for fax-extensions with success.
