FGD Howto 1

Hi,

Our Option11 has FGD feature and we want to implement it to our new telco interconnection (requiring us to use FGD). Relative to this, can anybody redirect me to a simple implementation and configuration of FGD via Nortel Meridian Option11?

Activate in LD 19
Assign a feature group and Black (FGNO) to Applicable Trunk group

thanks for all the replies guys.... yes what we need is FGD.... to get the ANi from the far-end of the circuits. yes it is package 158.

I'll check all information that you guys posted here and try to make some adjustments.

Another question.... Will the ANi be displayed on M2616's LCD?

do I need to purchase MF receiver for FGD implementation? If so, what is the exact part number of MF receiver for Option 11.

we got an MFR card working, configured the FGD trunks also, our problem right now is the caller (far end going to our switch) can hear fast busy tone on all numbers being called inside our switch.

Manual says we need to define the incoming route via NARS..... AC1 and AC2

Is there any example on how to do this?
