Let me preface by saying that I am not a phone guy at all and I'm not going to pretend either. So my specific issue is that we have added an option 11 at a new branch location and are unsure how to remotely manage it. Our option 11 at our main branch is totally segmented from our LAN on it's own network which is 10.10.10.0/24 and a pc located on that segment to manage it. Apparently according to our resident phone guy and some engineers at AT&T if we plug the option 11 in our main LAN it starts taking on broadcasts and it constantly reboots the option 11. We installed two new T1 point to point circuits at the branch location with one designated for data and the other for voice. So what exactly needs to be done to remotely manage the branch option 11? Do I need to segment the branch into a phone vlan for the option 11 and then can I route traffic across the data circuit to manage it? I'm sure this is a very basic question, but I can't seem to get AT&T to tell me how to make it happen. Also, is there something special about the 10.10.10.0/24 to the option 11? I didn't know if I needed to create a 10.10.10.0/24 at the branch location for the option 11. Sorry for all the question, but I'm needing some help desperately. Thanks in advance!
