Hi,
I have a store dimension with more than 500 records. The earnings fact contains the revenue from each of the stores.
I need to extract just 5 stores with the highest earnings. I want to display store name and revenue in $. Also, a column is required which shows %of Revenue (calculated as revenue_of_that_store/revenue_of_all_500_stores * 100). NOTE: This percentage is not based on just the total of the 5 top stores.

I am having problems in extracting the records for the top 5 stores and their revenues. I am using BO WebI, version XI

Not sure what WebI is, this is a Crystal forum, but in Crystal you can go under the Report menu and use a Top N type of report, hit F1 and search for Top N.

Actually.....

This is NOT a Crystal forum at all. It is a Business Objects forum.

This is not possible to do in WebI XI prior to the newly released XI r2 version. In R2, both database and report-level rankings are available.

Thanks skrandel. That saved me time...trying to go thru' the manuals to see if I missed anything. Guess, will have to do it in Crystal Rep.
