Excel templates different when log on locally vs network ? 1

Afternoon Everyone

Windows 2000 server, windows 2000 pro and Office 2000 professional

When logged on locally, if in Excel I go to File/New menu, I have 4 or 5 template tabs to choose from.

When logged on the domain and go to File/New menu, I only get "general" and "spreadsheet solutions" tabs on the templates

Any idea why, and preferably how to resolve this issue ?

Check in Word. Tools > Options > File locations and see where it's pointing for templates.
Word is the main app in the Office suite and you can change many settings in word that will replicate through to the other apps.
