I got a list of 6000 Fist and last Names, all are differnt.. The names are in a single column.. Is there a way to run an edit to take off the first names so only the last names are in the column? "tis better to remain silent and be thought of as a fool..

This formula should work if the names are seperated by a space...
=RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-FIND(" ",A1))

Or you could always just do Text to Columns under Data and use the Space as the Delimeter...
