Hi All

Is there any way I can remove columns from my bar chart (Excel 2000)that have a value of zero.

Eg:
January 12
February 0
March 45
April 0
May 20

So only the months Jan, Mar and May display with no gaps.

Many thanks for any help.
Tee.

A bunch of ways. Zero has been a perfectly valid number since the Greeks figured out that having a value for nothing is important.

However, if you leave the value blank....

Tool | Options | Charts | Uncheck "Plot blanks as zero"

Alternately, you can simply remove the series for the zero months.

Or, use Autofilter to not show the zero months, and plot only the remaining visible cells.

Thanks for your response. I have tried what you suggested but it is not the result I want.

Cheers

Tee

Hi teebird,

please explain in what way filtering does not do what you want?

Cheers, Glenn.
